My title explains my problem. I've looked all over and I'm assuming it's missing. Where does it go when I purchase a new one? Any recommendations for type and brand?

This is our first season as pool owners. I was lucky to find this site 2 weeks into our season. My knowledge has increased tremendously. I have my Taylor test kit and cleared our algae problem in little over a week. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
