Ive got a 24x52 doughboy and was planning on setting the frame on patio blocks to help make leveling eaiser, before i go much further, is this a good idea? After reading some other posts Im starting to worry about them breaking under the weight.

The patio blocks will work fine, I have seen a couple posts about blocks breaking under Intex type pools. 
Doughboy recommend 12x12x2" patio blocks so make sure yours are thick enough. The thinner ones can snap under the weight.
