At the beginning of the season I established my CYA at 50 and the water was brilliant with no algae. We've had a lot of rain of late, so the current CYA level has been reduced to 30. I've adjusted my daily additions of bleach accordingly, but with the daily checks and addition of the prescribed amount of bleach, I'm getting green algae bloom, particularly on the shallow end floor.
The other numbers are: Ph 7.8, CC 0.0, TA 80 FC 2.5 (this evening's reading, down from 4 yesterday evening after bleach was added). Target for the this CYA level is 4, according to the chart. I'm thinking of running the CYA back up to 50 with the corresponding FC target level like before after a shocking.
So - what'd'ya say?

Thanks everyone!
