Intex liner design. ....why do they do this?

Ok...sencond year with our 14x42. I didn't noticed last year.....maybe because the liner was new and "tight" ....and/or maybe the liner hadn't been stretched out???

Anyhow the bottom seam around the inside perimeter, the flap is up. So this holds dirt, etc., Seems like they would have designed the seam where the flap would fold downwards vs upwards?

Anyone else have this problem?

Same problem here. Ours holds a ton of dirt. I get in the pool with a vacuum hose a a regular house vacuum brush attachment and vacuum it up. It's a headache though.

Same here and ours isn't an intex pool, but a pro series and it isn't any different. It would be so much nicer if it was the other way around though.
The regular house hold vacuum brush attachment is an excellent idea.

That's what I've been doing....I get in and snorkel with the vacuum hose. (No end on hose)
I don't mind doing it every couole weeks...but is kinda a pain.

Yup I had a seam like that on my Bestway pool (rectangle pool like intex), I vacuumed my pool everyday specifically because of that seam, and I live in an area with heaps of dust....
