I have a 1.5 HP Waterway 2 speed pump with a Black Diamond Cartridge Filter. Since I opened this year on my 28ft Above Ground Pool I have been fighting it. Finally got it somewhat cleared up but still a little cloudy. I tried vacuuming what is left in the bottom but it just goes by my filter. Not sure what it is but my filter is not stopping it. Is there anything that can do that. The filter is pretty much brand new. It cathces leaves and some other debris but not this particular item. When it comes out it is cloudy.

Filter issues more often than not turn out to be water chemistry issues. It sounds like your filter is being overworked trying to get debris removed from your pool.
Generally, if you can see it, the filter will catch it.....unless it is completely full. Can you post test results and tell us when you cleaned the filter?

I took these last night:
FC=3.6
CC=.4
PH=7.2
TA=150
CYA=30
Calcium Hardness=290
I cleaned the filter prior to vacuum and it does not blow stuff out until I vacuum what is on the bottom. This was all done yesterday.
