CH took 58 drops to turn blue

I tried using my TF-100 last night for the first time. I got the following readings:

FC - 2.0
CC - 25
TC - 4.5
CH - 1450 (??)
TA - 190
CYA -50

I feel the results could be believable, except for CH. It took 58 drops to turn blue. Slowly changed from red to pink to link pink to purple to finally blue. I went to the pool store we have been using with a sample this morning, the show CH 155. What could I have done something wrong? The other readings from the pool store were:

FC - .53
CC - 1.15
TC - 1.68
pH - 7.2
TA - 106
CYA - 49

Welcome to TFP!

When the CH test turns purple it is called a fading end point, which results in false high readings.

See this post for some suggestions on how to avoid a fading end point.

A CC reading of 25? Really? I would test again. Follow Jason's advice on the fading endpoint.

Thanks Jason. Our pool is reading a high amount of copper (per the pool store analysis).

Sorry the CC was 2.5
