Wrong test kit?

I think I bought the wrong test kit... I bought a Taylor K-2005 at my local PS today since we are going to try and start BBB tonight. We have a new pool that we just filled. Is this test kit going to work? I knew I shoulda ordered the one reccomended here...

From what I've read that's a good test kit but you are limited by not being able to test for chlorine above 5ppm. You can probably make do with that one for the time being but I would plan on getting the TF100. In my opinion it is much better.

Most of the Taylor K-2005 is great, but it doesn't have a FAS-DPD chlorine test. You will want a FAS-DPD chlorine test eventually. The FAS-DPD chlorine test is available separately if you want to add it on.

Thank you both! You have relieved the pit in my stomach after I realized what I had done. I called the PS and they don't carry the K2006 so maybe I will add that on in the future.

YOu can order the FAS-DPD from tftest kits for about $23, and then you'll have all you need to last you till next time you need a full kit, and then I'd replace it with the full TF100.
