Now that the big rain storms have stopped (pool overflowed twice) and my numbers are way off, I'd like to get everything back in check. I need some help with the order in which i should start adding the chemicals. I 'll be using Borax for pH and I shock with and mostly use bleach. I also use the 1" tabs here and there.
Any advice would be great!!! Thanks, Harry

If you truly want to lower the CYA, that should be your first step as you will have to replace water.
Then get the pH in range and then add some TA and then add the CH ... these 3 can be done within 30 minutes of each other.

Chlorinating with Target 8.25 bleach most of the time but with all the rain the last few months and going out of town, have been using 1" tabs some. 80 TA sounds good to me. In a fiberglass pool, do I need to bring CH to 150?
