How does the pesky timer motor come out??

Folks,
I have an issue. Polaris timer motor is u/s. Please see attached pic....I'm assuming it is held in by those two screws? I cannot budge them, they look like some sort of torx head, but I have tried torx, allen and screwdrivers to no avail. I'm beginning to think this is not the way to remove the timer motor as the screws are not standard. The motor is: Intermatic, Model WG1573.5
What gives here?

Yep that's a standard motor alright. Usually a Torx wrench will get it out.

OK thanks, yep I also found a pool website that had pics of the removal. Ok well at least I know those are the screws for removal.
