I just wanted to do a bit of interforum advertising.
How many of you have seen those really cool BBQ Island and wished you had one but thought they were way too expensive? I certainly have. Many DIYers of average skill can and have built them.
BBQ Galore used to have an outstanding forum dedicated to just this but they have recently gone away. The single most active contributor on the old board, Dr Dave, is now making regular visits here. Although it initially wasn't very active, Sean has a section here for building islands and it is starting to pick up speed.
Now that a few people have posted thier builds I encourage you to go take a look at what is possible.
