TA is 90ppm. Too high to add borax?

Hi,
I know the suggested TA is 50-70ppm but would it hurt if I added the borax with a TA of 90ppm? Any drawbacks?

It depends on what you are trying to do. If your primary goal is to reduce PH increases from CO2 outgassing, then you should lower the TA more before adding borax. If you are adding borax for some other reason then it is probably fine to go ahead and add borax right now. You can still lower the TA even after adding borax, it is just a bit easier to do it now.
