Adding baking soda to raise TA

How do i add baking soda to pool to raise TA?
I have dark color plaster and concerned with baking soda staining plaster if it sinks to bottom at sits.

Also just bought a taylor test kit at leslies about 1 week ago. Kit tests include CYA & CH. Just wondering how this test kit compares to mentioned TF-100 on this forum. Where can i purchase a TF-100?

It is difficult to cause problems with baking soda. Still, it is best to pre-dissolve it in a bucket and then pour that slowly in front of a return jet while the pump is running.

When I was fighting low TA, I just loaded a 16 OZ plastic cup with it and broadcast it in the deep end. It pretty much dissolved before it hit the bottom.
