TA 130

Has been great for a week. When I left this morning at 7AM all was great. Not sure what happened. Did do some digging in yard and there is dust on bottom of pool. Maybe that's why? Or sunlight stronger today.

I added 24oz of liquid bleach at 8.25% and 24oz of borax.

Am I on the right track. I do need to vacuum but waiting for part on order.

Also, that TA at 130-should I be all over that with baking soda to get it under 100?
Can't be certain how much time water was under 2PPM, at least a couple hours probably, not longer than that. Hope algae doesn't grow that quick.

Baking soda will raise the TA. Don't add any.

You might want to reread a few pool school articles. They'll make more sense now that you're doing the daily testing thing.

I used pool calculator and put in now and goal for TA and it was telling me to add baking soda. Either the calculator was having a moment of confusion or I mis keyed the numbers (probably me). Thanks, I will review links to those.
