There were some peopl that had two of those last fall where we camp. They were floating around in the pond. They don't go very fast, but I imagine would be just fine for going around in a pool.

Also, if you don't want to buy batteries, get rechargable ones. We have rechargable batteries in EVERYTHING in our house that takes batteries. The ONLY time we buy batteries is if we don't have any spares with us.

JC Penney's had them last year on clearence near the end of the season for about $99, didn't get one though.
