Hayward 3/4 superpump.. bearings going bad? Fix yourself?

It is certainly possible to get bearings and to replace them yourself, but it is fairly complex to do so. There aren't generally handy cross references to lookup the part number, so you usually have to remove the old ones and then find something that matches. One good option is to take the motor to a motor rebuild shop, which should exist locally.
 

I just purchased 2 new bearings, shaft seal and a bearing puller from www.wetheadpumprepair.com

Their customer service is awesome and they stand behind what they sell. I checked into this, and wanted to be sure I was getting quality bearings and parts, and their reputation is great. Will report back.
