I assume there is a hole in the lid or something?
I am not convinced how well this will actually work since the rate of the bleach coming out will be variable depending on how full the bottle is.

I bet the idea is they put in the bottle what the dose is and this just drips it our over say an hour, etc.
Looks like a makeshift funnel. Bottom of jug is cut out right? So you measure what you need and then add to the funnel? With a very small hole that probably works well. Too slow adding is fine, too fast would be not so fine.
Ah, I see ... does look more like a funnel. As long as it is draining over the return, that should work pretty well.
@jbizzle. It is in front if the return. And it pour out a lot slower than I have the patience to do by hand lol.

I'd paint that sucker black to keep the precious liquid protected from the sun, at least until it can join with the sworn defender of chlorine... CYA!
Good idea Jesse! But it only had bleach in it once the sun has gone down.

Suggestion: Temporarily replace the drilled cap with one that doesn't have a hole. Then add water, one cup (or quart) at a time, and put black marks on the sides of the jug at the water line for each addition.
With the volume markings, you can be very accurate with your chlorine additions without having to use a separate measuring cup.
