Hello All! I'm new to the forum and any help is greatly appreciated. I have a 30' above ground pool with a Jacuzzi filter and 1hp pump. I'm having trouble with the filter building pressure every 4-5 days requiring me to backwash far more often than I expected or had to last season. When I backwash the water seems to flow clean. We have a very clean pool.. it sits out in the open and rarely gets dirty. Can anyone shed any insight as to why I'm having to backwash as often as I am? Thanks in advance..

Welcome to TFP!!!If the pressure is rising, then the filter must be catching something. Even if the water looks clear, you could have a low level algae bloom that is clogging things up. Thus, the reason Dave is requesting test results.
