Do I have a potential problem

When I put my numbers in the pool calculator:

FC=3, pH=7.4, TA=70, CH=200, CYA=60, borates=50, salt=3100 and the temp is 85.

I get a CSI= -0.64. Is this a problem or a potential problem?

No, no problem at all. You have a vinyl pool, so it is fine if the CSI is very low. You will only have a problem if the CSI is too high.

Well that's good news. I was/am still a bit nervious about my limestone coping and my CSI.

I thought my numbers were pretty typical of a balanced pool. Which of them are out of whack if I had a gunite/plaster pool?

As long as the limestone is above the water line there shouldn't be any issue because of CSI. There is a small risk to the limestone from the salt in the water. I would use sealer on the limestone if you haven't already. Rinsing it off with a garden hose once a week might also be a good idea.

In a plaster pool I would raise CH to 250 or 300 and try to keep PH between 7.5 and 7.8. But with vinyl you should be fine.
