No chlorine in salt water pool

So I have an above ground 16x48 salt water pool with an intex cs 8110 cartridge filter. The add salt light is not on. We just filled the pool about 10 days ago and I am new to salt water and am not sure what to do next. Iwill get a full test kit because I see here how important it is but for today I have test strips reading

Alk 80
Cyanutic acid 0
The water looks good now but obviously will change very quickly and I have a kids birthday party in 5 days and need some intervention quickly. Thanks in advance for your help.

You need to adjust your PH right away. Raise PH to at least 7.2.

For a SWG pool, CYA should be between 70 and 80. However, you don't want to raise it that much all in one go. Start by raising CYA to around 50, give it a week, test the level again and adjust from there.
