Pool Paint Coming Off Like Dust

Hello,

When I was brushing my pool, I noticed for a while that there are dust coming off the side during brushing. At first I thought it was dust or algae. However when I drain the SPA to half, and touch the wall, there are actually paint in my finger, so I found out it is actually the paint coming off.

What should I do? I don't really care about the color of the pool, should I just keep brushing and keep the filter running until all the paint came off? Or I should drain and refill since the pool water is contaminated by paints?

I don't know that you can stop it. Drain/refill still leaves you with the same coating of paint. Hoping for ALL the paint to come off might be years.

Draining, sand blasting and a new surface is the permanent fix.

Over the years, paint problems are a commonplace report and we don't suggest paint as a viable pool surface......it wears out too fast.

Thanks, is it okay to swim in the pool? The water is usually pretty clear, only get a bit cloudy after I brush it.
