CH Test Results

Hi I'm curious which of these pics indicates the correct CH level. The first (more purple) photo is about 250, the dark blue is 300 and the last (bright blue) is 350. Normally, I had stopped when it was the 'dark blue', but recently I continued to add drops until it changed to the 'bright blue'.

You just keep adding until one of the drops has no effect on the color. With the CH test, massive amounts of mixing are required. Massive. When I switched from manual swirling to speedstir, I dropped about 200 ppm!

So.. in your case, at 12, you're at dark blue. At 13, you're still at dark blue. At 14, it goes to light blue, the color you want to see. At 15, it stays light blue. No change at all. So the last drop did nothing. Subtract it. 15-1 is 14. Your CH is 350.
