Just spoke to Hayward and the temp sensor in my GLX-CELL-5-W that is connected to an Aqua-Trol controller is bad. This is an above ground vinyl 7600 gallon pool. They are sending a new cell out under warranty. This is the second cell in two years, the first cell stopped generating. Unfortunately I got tired of kicking around the original cell and threw it away, otherwise I would use the sensor from it. I would like to bypass the temp switch to get it to generate while I await the new one. I have seen reference to this being done with a resistor, but cannot find information on the size of resistor. I would also replace the sensor if anybody is aware of a source for it.
