Refilled 60% of our pool water 5 days ago

Test results today are:

Salt 3600
PH 8.0
TA 220/ppm
CYA 60ppm
FC 0
Calcium Hardness 550ppm

Pool Math suggests adding bleach and stabilizer... Since we've had so many issues I would like some input on those results.

Are you sure pool math isn't telling you to add Muriatic Acid and Bleach?

Your CYA level is a little low for a salt pool, but the low FC and high pH and TA are more worrisome at the moment.

Thanks for replying...the pool looks clear but the test results worry me!? Yes you are correct Pool Math suggests Muratic Acid and Bleach. We have added the Muratic Acid, 27 oz. Soon after this we saw that the SWG cell cap has a crack and water was leaking, we have an old cap w/ a cell (that is no good). So the filter is running, no SWG for at least 2 weeks. We live in Mexico and have to get to the states to pick up a new generator. Any suggestions on how to get our pool in balance w/o the SWG would be appreciated.

Until the generator is running, bleach will keep it from turning green.

You should be testing it every day. Chlorine is a consumable item, and you're no longer constantly feeding it with the Saltwater generator.

Chlorine will burn off a bit every day. It's important to not let your FC drop below the minimum recommended level, You need to test it every day.
since your SWG is broke, use the "with bleach" side of the chart

I am trying hard to understand all of this...will and the bleach and test for FC, CC and CYA everyday or do I need to do PH and TA also?

You just need to test for FC, CC and maybe pH daily (depending on how fast your pH tends to drift) CYA is a once every couple of months test for most people
