I opened my pool last Saturday and had to slam until thursday when i had clear water and passed the overnight chlorine test. When i was done my fc was around 12 on friday morning. I have yet to add chlorine and my fc is still 7 (my target FC) is this normal? My cya is low around 30-35 and the pool is in direct light all day (in the process of raising it to around 60). Not that i am complaining haha, just was unsure what a normal fc loss should be.

That is very low FC loss for CYA around 30. If you had already started raising the CYA level, chances are that it is already quite a bit higher, and that is why you are losing so little chlorine.
