Hi,
I have an Aquacomfort Heatpump, flipped it on today and got an error code 'LP' ....will not run, just the panel blinking that message.
noticed a slight leak at the bottom of the pan; cup of water at the most but pump had not been on in weeks.
took the panel off, took the cap off one of the schrader valve looking thinks, pressed it and water came out like a drinking fountain.
I am assuming this is not working as intended.
I am fearing the my PH destroyed the heat exchanger and has passed water into the compressor?? not sure.
Is this repairable? The unit is under 10 years old but it came with the house , so according to the warranty they only guaranteed the orig. owner. (not sure why that is so critical to them but thats what it says)
