I'm pretty excited. While I wanted a larger "tanning area" for the granddaughter to play on, this isn't too bad. I have yet to meet to super in person, as I don't occupy the house yet, but he calls me each day with an update and what the plans are for the week. So far he has been right on the money.

I'm just north of Austin in Leander Texas.

I'm not real sure about the coping/tile combo. Looked good in the sales office. I am getting aqua blue pebble sheen so Im thinking that might help..

I think it will help a lot. It's the gray gunnite that is throwing you off. I have the same coping, but a deeper blue tile. I thought the same thing went they first installed it. But when the pool was plastered (white), it really popped, and my wife and I both like the way it looks now.

Pool looks great btw. I thought that looked like Texas! We're up just north of Dallas.

Stage one of decking.. Sundek to be applied. After a 10 day period where it seemed nothing was happening, things started rolling again. I'm told I should be putting water in it by the Friday after this one.

I woke up to the pool being filled. I assumed they would have filters or something on the hoses but they were just laying in the pool. I wondered if pebble sheen didnt need the extra care or not. Also I will post a pic of my pump/filter set up. I haven't had their instructions yet but is a chlorine dispenser usually part of a SWG pool?

Looking great! Congrats! I like that tile a lot, and as others have mentioned, everything looks great together now that you've got plaster and water. As far as dreading the landscaping, I'll tell you that in our first Summer with our pool (2007) we didn't even bother; we just enjoyed using the pool, and got to work on the landscaping later. We're still not done; it'll hopefully be reasonably complete sometime in the Fall. At first, we didn't even know what we wanted to do...we just lived with the new pool for a while then started making some decisions. We're going slowly, but enjoying the pool at the same time!

That pool looks great :)

BUT looks like you will get a lot of runoff from your roof and deck when it rains, and it looks like it's going straight into the pool. Could make life a little difficult. But i say again pool looks great!!

Is this cool or what?! I came home to find my pool is up and running. Gotta brush the pebble sheen but took a few pictures first
