I am attempting to install a MX8 automatic cleaner. I discovered that I have a side wall suction line, but the center of the plastic plug is broken and I cannot get it out. The plug looks like a Hayward SP1022B Vacuum Plug, with a single plastic area to grasp for removal. That is what's broken. (Sorry, I don't know how to attach photos yet either). Any suggestion for removal without damaging the interior threads? I would be grateful for any assistance you could offer. Thanks.
