General Slam FC question

If you slam your SWG pool and are targeting a FC level of 4 but shock level of 24 with CYA=60, how does your FC get back down from 24 to 4? Does it stay high for a while and you turn off your SWG?

Curious, as to how your pool returns to normal level.

Sunlight will burn off the excess chlorine in a couple of days, faster if your turn off the SWG, but it will come back to normal regardless.

Sunlight will breakdown the FC. It's a percentage, not a fixed ppm per day, so it drops off really fast the first day, a little slower the next. Yes, turn off the SWG. It should actually be off the last night for sure when you do the overnight loss test. If you pass, and you're done, just leave it off!

It's safe to swim up to SLAM level, by the way.
