Just a heads up for those with this setup. The coupling connecting the polaris flexible discharge hose to the hard pvc broke (age? sun damage? bumped?). Anyway, it emptied half my pool into the yard. Messed my chemistry and water bill up. Check them and replace if necessary. It's easy to do.
