I don't even see the drain plug so I'm guessing it's on the back which is about an inch from the house and impossible to get to. OF COURSE

Re: Leaking tank but no visible problem
Make sure the drain plug at the bottom of the filter is not cross threaded and is snug. Turn off the pump, shut off any valves between the pool and the filter then check the plug.

Thank you Richard! However, I'm confused, it's the actual pool filter tank that seems to be leaking from the bottom, so is the plug on the pump related?

From the picture you posted earlier, yes the drain plug is next to the house. See if you can feel back there and tell if that is where the water is coming from. If it is, then you will need to tighten the plug. Also when it is light out run the pump and see if you can find water dripping or spraying out anywhere around the filter or heater.
New problem. Ran the filter overnight in an effort to clear up the water. Went outside this morning and didn't see any water moving through the pump. Opened it up, where the basket is, and steam came out. WHAT NOW??
Also, I had a pool guy come out and he's telling me I need a new motor. That motor was replaced last year.
