Twice now, after heavy rains, my PowerTouch Keypad has gone dead. The first time the pool store talked my brother-in-law through getting it working - I think they reset the PIN but unfortunately I wasn't there. Yesterday, it went dead again. Resetting the PIN wasn't possible, nor was the service code functional. The thing was inert.
I called the pool store and they offered a technician for a $100 service call. But by the time they'd called me back I had it working - I 'fixed' it with a solid whack on the side.
My question: the pool store said 'well, we did have some problems with some of those for awhile' - do any of you know of any common problems with them, and if so, how to fix them? Source for parts?
