We will often be gone on weekends, if I know how much chlorine to add daily, do I just multiply that by how many days we'll be gone, and add that before we leave?
That could work. SLAM level or near would also work. Would it be possible to cover the pool while your gone ? That would help with FC loss from the sun. Is this every weekend ?
I've been wondering this too. Is there any harm to having a really high chlorine level if you are gone or are lazy and don't' want to add it every day?
FC loss is a %, so the more you add at a time, the more you lose per day to the sun (all things being equal), so that method is going to be less efficient.
