Screw on top Pentair triton top

Im going to attempt the deep cleaning of my triton. The multioport is on the side and the top is a screw on with only a valve. After Im done cleaning, when i re-screw on the top, I read where I could use pool lube on the gasket. However do I also use the pool lube on the thread of the screw on top and/or the triton threads?

It sounds like you are asking whether or not to lubricate both the male and female portion of the connection. If that is the question, then yes, put a reasonably thin coating on both surfaces.
