Automatic Cover Options?

Bought a house with this free form pool with a paver deck. The previous owner installed a pergola pretty close to the pool, eliminating a on-deck track option for a cover. Is there any type of solution for this? Am I also out of luck for a winter cover since the tension bolts would likely pull up the paver stone?

There isn't any way to install an electrically operated cover without removing the pergola.

However, you can install a safety cover, though installing the anchors in a paver deck is quite a bit of extra work. Each anchor needs to be connected to a fairly substantial piece of concrete, but that concrete can be buried below the pavers. Unless the pavers were installed on a concrete base to begin with, setting that up pretty much means removing the pavers, pouring a lot concrete, reinstalling the pavers, and mounting the anchors in concrete filled pipes that anchor down in the concrete below.
