Leave pool covered or uncover it?

Hi,

I have a simple question, i dont plan to open my pool for another 10-14 days. I covered my pool this winter and i was wondering if i should leave it covered until i open it or uncover it asap?

Unless you need access to the pool for some reason, I don't see any advantage of taking the cover off until you open it.

Welcome to TFP!!!

We recommend you open your pool before the water gets out of the 50s ... if it is already warmer than that, then algae is likely and leaving the cover on might reduce how much is growing.

Another vote for opening now, especially if the water temp is 60 or approaching 60. ?
