Hayward Super Pump Keeps Tripping Breaker

I have a Blue Haven inground salt water pool. With a Smartfilter 550 cart. filter and a Hayward 2 hp super pump. A week ago the air relief valve blew off. The complete thing gauge and all. I was told because of dirty filters. Cleaned them all and replace the ARV. Now the super pump starts runs 10 seconds and flips the breaker??? The pump for the cleaner runs fine. Any ideas?

Did the breaker tripping problem start only after the damage?

I suspect you have a blocked pipe somewhere, preventing water from moving through the system.

If there was no or low flow, the amp draw from the pump would be low.

possibly a bad breaker. I suggest putting an ammeter on the pump to see the draw. If it is a high draw, then look to see if the pump is spinning freely.
