I know I need to shock to 20 but I have a taylor 2000 kit ( I purchased wrong one by accident and then purchased additional reagents separately so I have everything now ) however, my comparator only shows numbers/color chart 0-5 on it how do I know if I have reached 20? Maybe im missing something...im sorry but thanks so much, in advance.

You need the FAS-DPD chlorine test to measure levels around 20. The reagents it uses include R-0870 & R-0871.
If you have the FAS-DPD reagents, you need one of these. DPD powder is R-0870, and FAS is R-0871. Not a color comparison.
If you purchased the R-0870 and R-0871 FAS-DPD reagents, you don't use the comparator. Use a vial.
