Trying to help a friend open their pool

17,000 gallon IG vinyl

FC = 0
CC = 0( from 0 FC I guess? After testing FC, adding the 5 drops of R-0003, it did not change the color)
PH = 8.2
TA = 130
CYA = 20

Pool has green tint, can't see bottom. First steps? Slam process to get FC up and try to clear up the green tint? or do we address something else first?

Lower PH first---then have at it.

I agree with Woodyp. PH over 8.0 is very high and needs to be addressed.

I agree drop pH, start slamming, but you may want to double check that CYA as you go and boost it up a bit, but not too much until you finish the SLAM
