Ok so I got all of the pieces of the 30' AGP home this past weekend and the filter system that the guy had with the pool seems to be for inground pools. It is a Hayward model S-220T. http://www.hayward-pool.com/pdf/literature/LITPROTM11.pdf

The pump looks like this but the motor says GE and not Hayward. The sticker is hard to read but could make out its a 1hp 115/230V and is duel speed. http://www.hayward-pool.com/pdf/literature/LITSUPER11.pdf

Any issues with using this setup with a 30' x 52" above ground pool?

Thanks

Not at all. Inground pumps are generally self-priming and probably a little better quality on average. Pump motors are about always made by a motor manufacturer and not the pump manufacturer.
