I have a Esther Williams 18' x 33' above ground pool and a new sand filter. The pool is approximately 30 to 40 yrs old. There is nothing wrong with it. It has a deck and walkway all the way around. Is this some thing I should sell or just scrap it?

I would certainly agree with this. Seems like these days many people are buying the Intex which are only good for a handful of years I would guess.
Even if you do not get any money for it, I would certainly rather give it to someone for the labor of taking it away (and then having to buy a new liner) than just trashing.
If I new that before last weekend I just bought a used pool. But if you are selling the new filter with it you should be able to get $400-$500 range. Without the filter maybe $200-$300.
Don't forget to account for your time and effort in tearing it down and scrapping it or someone else showing up and doing all the work.

The pool looks solid! If I didn't have one and had the space I would jump on it!
