Hi all. We just had our pool re-done with pebble sheen. We filled it and the next day our pool man poured in about half gallon acid! Should I be concerned? (live in So Calif and it's been 100)

A lot of builders do it, but I'm not in the camp of doing hot starts. Your PB should be responsible for handling that procedure, and if he is doing it, there isn't much you can do about it now. He needs to keep you informed of what's happening. I don't like it, but I don't think you need to worry. He is responsible for the finish quality.

And to add to brushpup's post.... you're responsible to follow his guidelines to protect the warranty on the pool if there is one.
