What's this?!?

New pool built in the fall of last year that I pass on my way to work daily.

Intermittently over the fall/winter months I would notice this thing pop up and stay for a few days and then be gone.

It's been there steady for a couple of weeks now.

Just curious what in the world it is??

Looks like some sort of inflatable dome .... maybe they put it up for a day or two during the winter and bump the pool temp up for an event and are now doing it to get a jump on the season??

But ... that's just a guess!

I am sure there is fresh air blown in continuously. It would take a long time to use up all that air though.

There is a large fan blowing outside air into the dome constantly. That both provides fresh air and keeps the dome inflated.

its a pool dome or whaever ya call it. A guy I work with has one similar over his.
