Help with Hayward skimmer on 18x54 Intex

I put the skimmer on and got it all hooked up. The only leak is where the intex hose and fitting connect to the standard fittings. I currently have an L-shape O-ring going into the white pvc part. It's not just a tiny drip, water gushes out...
Can anyone tell me what part to use/order so that I can get this skimmer working? I'm tired of skimming by hand!
