new plaster quartz agr, brush with nylon or stainless steel brush?

The plasterer just said to brush. Looking at startup instructions for quartz aggregates like diamondbrite etc they don't specify either? does it matter?

I would use nylon. Brush regularly, and maintain proper chemistry.

Well shoot, i just did my initial brushing with stainless (had forgotten there was even other types of brushes) then afterwards started wondering.

i'll assume i didn't screw anything up and hopefully sleep well.

Thank, i picked up another brush today.

I posted this on another thread of mine when i was going through pump selection but maybe it's better suited here.

My kids snuck and walked on the steps with dirty feet before water was filled over them. There's dirt stains on them that i can't seem to brush out. Think this may be permanent
or will it maybe go away when i start chlorinating? Pretty sure the dirt organic they were running around where i had a mess while i was hooking up the equipment.

it's lightening up a bit since the sun came out, only 2 spots really visable, i think this will go away once chlorination starts.
