Failed final inspection - Pentair MagicStream Deck Jets aren't UL Listed

Hey all -

Failed final inspection today because the inspector insists that the Pentair MagicStream laminars need to be UL listed and they don't appear to be.

Has anyone else dealt with this before? Any advice?

This is in SFV / Los Angeles, CA.

They are ETL listed. Unless you have a messed up local ordinance, that is more than good enough.

They are Intertek ETL listed, which includes UL certification. The Intertek ETL mark is in the manual, and presumably on the lights themselves as well. You can read about Intertek ETL here. You may need to get a statement from Pentair to convince the inspector.

Thanks. Just spent 30min on the phone with Pentair who were very willing to try to help, but not sure what will come of it. They're going to email me any information they can gather on the laminars.
