Volleyball in Vinyl Pool

Hello! Getting excited to finally be able to use the pool I've been taking care of all winter long. One question: we have a vinyl-lined sport pool (rectangular, shallow on both ends, deep in the middle) which is perfect for volleyball. I was wondering if it would be ok to use a real volleyball in the pool or if we should stick with a Jimmy Buffett-style "beach ball"? I don't know if a real one would be too rough on the vinyl.

A "real" vollyball will have no affect on your pool. A "real" leather ball will get a little stiff from being in the water but it is perfectly OK.
