Yes i am a victim of not enough reagents...i thought i could purchase the 0871 reagent locally but apparently i was incorrect. I will take the advice on how to read the oto test kit and hopefully i can finish out this slam process. When i test it with the oto it is super yellow so i guess I'm around 10-12 which is what I'm looking for so hopefully it works. Thanks again guys, really big help.

OTO will give you a rough estimate, but it's not accurate enough to do the overnight chlorine loss test.

It would be better to get the r-0871 to do the process correctly.

Ok, I would wait to get the 0871 but I'm on my 3rd day of slamming and don't want to start over. Should u just keep slamming until the 0871 gets here or stop slamming when the water is clear and no cc is shows up?

I would keep SLAMing as well as the OTO allows until the reagent arrives. Then you can know if there are CC and if you pass the OCLT.
