Just got our pool mid July last year. This is my first time in opening a pool. I have about 4-5 more inches of water and then I can start up the pump and see if anything is leaking. It is supposed to be 80 here tomorrow, but will be 28 overnight Tuesday. I have until Tuesday to fix any leaks so that I can have the pump running for sure during the few hours of freezing temperatures. The only thing I wonder about is I used plumbers tape for fittings when I think the pool store used a gel type. Guess I'll know soon. Feel like a kid waiting at Christmas.
