    Polaris 380 question

Can my Polaris 380, which has it's own booster pump, be run when a 2speed 1 hp main pump is on low speed?

    Thanks

To be on the safe side I'd suggest monitoring it when you first try it.

The main thing the booster pump needs is enough flow for the booster pump to run. When you first try it you can observe whether the booster pump makes any unusual noises indicative of not having enough flow. You can also observe the return lines to your pool. Any water going through those return lines is surplus to what the booster pump needs to operate. Having some good flow is indicative that everything is fine. Finally you can observe the performance of the Polaris in climbing walls etc. Based on these observations, you should be able to judge whether it is safe to continue.
