I have a Jandy 2440 actuator on my Aqua Solar that went bad. In looking for a replacement I see the Jandy 2444 but also see a new Goldline GVA-24. The Goldline is like half the price of the Jandy. Was just wondering if there is any real difference and is the Jandy worth twice the price?

I like the Goldline actuators better - for 1 thing they are easier to reset the stops. I'm fairly sure that they have the same connection to the control panel, so go with the less expensive one 8)
